Kingwood Country Club and Resort Wedding Film
Whitney & Ben – October 17, 2015
This wedding may have been THE most beautiful wedding of 2015. The weather couldn’t have been any prettier. 70 degrees. A cool, fall breeze blowing. Standing in the sunshine felt so lovely.
The wedding took place at Kingwood Country Club and Resort which has one of the most stunning ceremony sites in north Georgia. A plush lawn, stone steps leading up to an arbor covered alter all underneath a gigantic oak and back light by the setting sun all made for a magical wedding ceremony.
We absolutely loved the families on both sides. Everyone was so warm and inviting. We could feel the love as soon as we arrived.
The lighting was absolutely amazing for the ceremony with all kinds of natural sun-flares hitting our lenses. And the live music, played by Sharon Gerber Music was some of the best Tracie and I have ever heard. Both the piano and cello were simply amazing. They were so polished and sounded so rich. And Sharon was kind enough to let us feature her music in the wedding film.
After the ceremony there were photos and lawn games until the sun set behind the mountains. Everyone moved inside for dinner and more games. Whitney and Ben played the shoe game where they sat with their backs to one another, they were asked questions like “Is Whitney or Ben more likely to do… such & such. Or who is the better driver?” Without looking at each other, they would answer by holding up either Whitney or Ben’s shoe. It is a great way for the guests to get to know the couple a little better and enjoy a few laughs along the way.
We had so much fun filming this wedding and we pray that Whitney and Ben will enjoy a lifetime of love and happiness together.
