It threatened rain all day but when the sun was needed, it didn’t disappoint. The pre-ceremony activities took place at the families home on Lake Lanier. The first thing we noticed as we walked in was the bride, Ashley, sitting there at the table having her make up applied and she was absolutely radiant.The second thing we noticed was that there were bridesmaids in every direction we looked like busy bees zooming to and fro, getting dressed, applying makeup, fixing their hair, ect. Turns out their were fourteen bridesmaids and everyone of them were beautiful in their own right.

Once the bride was ready we headed out to the backyard by the lake where the bride and groom had their first look. The first look on a wedding day is one of our absolute favorite moments and we especially love capturing this moment on film. The genuine looks of surprise and awe and love on their faces is priceless.

The short and sweet ceremony took place and the First Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA and then we headed over to the wonderful Chattahoochee Country Club for the grand reception. The venue was amazing, the staff was wonderful, and the food was divine.

The reception party was jamming thanks to what has got to be one of the best party bands in the Atlanta area, The Perfect 10 Band. They were fun and energetic with great musicianship and vocals.

It was an absolutely wonderful wedding day and we are so thankful we got to be a part of it. We wish Ashley and Jack the best of luck in their new adventure together.
