We always have a good time photographing weddings at Montaluce Vineyards. But check out this not so typical ceremony location for a Montaluce wedding. This Dahlonega, GA Vineyard can accommodate more than one wedding during on the same day and it just so happened that there were two going on this day. And so, Jessica and Jonathan had to choose another ceremony location on the Montaluce grounds. And what a magnificent job they did, wouldn’t you agree?
Up on top of a mountain there beside a couple of the Monteluce estates was a lawn area just big enough to allow for the ceremony and boy what a view!
And we always love to capture the groom’s expression as the bride walks down the aisle. It is always such a genuine emotion.
Bride and groom portaits in the vinyards are always fun!
Jonathan is a Harley Davidson enthusiast and so we had to get a few photos of the couple with the Harley and the baby! And don’t worry, the baby was completely safe the entire time. A little Photoshop magic and we were able to remove the person squatting behind hold the baby.
We had lots of fun shooting the details at this wedding. The wedding rings on their baby’s toes… how cute is that!
Inside the house where the groomsmen were getting ready before the ceremony, there was a secret, hidden room, or man cave I should say, where the groomsmen hung out. There was no door to this room. You literally had to swing in a secret bookcase to gain access. Inside the man cave was a poker table, drinks and cigars.
It totally reminded us of a scene from a western movie and while we don’t do a whole lot of sepia photos, we thought this photo lended itself nicely to the old timey sepia look.
These are some of our favorite wedding couple portraits from 2014. We were quickly running out of light as the sun was setting and we happened upon this blank wall up on the hill where the soft light of the setting sun was still hitting. They turned out amazing!
