Brian contacted us to take photos and video for him because he wanted to ask his girlfriend to marry him so of course we were thrilled to help. He already had a location picked out. They love to come to Dahlonega to visit and they love to walk from the motel into town together.  And on the way into town, there is this small but pretty little park that they always enjoy walking by.  That is where he wanted to propose to the love of his life!

So we set up a time and even pushed it up a little that day of because rain was forecast for the evening and we feared it would move in and ruin everything.  We planned this all ahead of time with Brian and we set up several cameras and a small microphone hidden underneath a tree limb where this special event was to happen.

Jeremy had his camera and I was waiting off to the side with my camera.  He got in the perfect spot and handled it from there. He knelt down on his knee after saying some beautiful words to her and brought the ring out. She said yes! The moment was perfect just like in the movies!

She didn’t even notice me taking pictures but what girl actually notices anyone else when there is a handsome man on one knee asking her to marry him.  Funny story…when we got to the park I didn’t know where I was going to get so she didn’t see me with my camera when they came walking down. This park isn’t very big and it’s right off a very busy road. There were these two very nice hikers that was setting on a rock wall taking a break, right in the perfect spot for me get to take the photos so I went over to them told them what was about to go down and ask if I could hang out with them. I had a very nice conversation with them before I started taking photos and she was none the wiser of who I was till after he popped the question.
