This was our first trip to McGuire’s Millrace Farm and we were floored by the beauty of this venue.  There is just something about a row or a path of trees that I have always loved and McGuire’s Millrace Farm has this on full display with two long rows of fanciful river birch trees.

I can see why Paige and Josh wanted so badly to have their ceremony underneath them even with the threat of random pop up showers all day.  I must admit, Tracie and I wanted to badly as well.  Unfortunately, mother nature had other plans and we had to move inside.

Luckily, the rain subsided after a few minutes giving us some great overcast weather for some portraits during “golden hour”.

Paige and Josh were definitely meant to be together.  Both of them, whether it was in their letters to one another or in their vows,  had written phrases that were also written by the other.  In fact, Paige didn’t know it until she began putting on her shoes that Josh had written her a note on the bottom of them beginning with words “I have loved you for 1,387 days”.  She was astonished because those were the exact words that she had written in her vows to him.
