Four Oaks Manor reminds me of the story “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” in that at first, when looking from the front of the property, you don’t really notice anything out of the ordinary.  And then when you step through the wardrobe, or in this case into the back property, you are transported to a magical world of beauty and imagination!

The outdoor garden venue is like something out of a storybook.  An abundance of colorful flowers and ornamental trees; charming stone pathways, gazebos, and nighttime outdoor lighting.

The video is like a movie full of amazing scenes one after the other. The day begins slow. Happy and smiling, the guests arrive at Four Oaks Manor and make their way into this magical garden to witness the wedding of Brittany and Derek.

The anticipation grows with each person that arrives, taking their seats and awaiting the appearance of the bride.  The officiant asks everyone to rise as Brittany, escorted by her father, promenades down the garden path to join her awaiting groom.

As Derek sees her for the first time in her wedding gown, he feels like the luckiest man alive.  Brittany is stunning in her wedding dress. She looks like the beautiful accomplice in a James Bond movie, Bond’s equal.

When it comes to time take their vows, Derek stares into Brittany’s eyes as she makes promises to him. He sees the tears well up in the corners of her eyes and wishes more than anything that he could lean in and kiss them away. She struggles through the tears to finish her vows to him.

And finally they hear the words they’ve waited so long to hear, “You may kiss the bride.”
