Kristen and Bas met on Hinge and chatted for about a week before going on their first date, which she said was amazing.  They went to Taqueria in Brookhaven, GA and talked for hours on end.  What’s strange is that they didn’t go on another date for over a year!

Kristen had just gotten out of one relationship and wasn’t quite ready for another at the time.  “Thankfully” she said, “God brought us back together!”  They went on a second date and, as they describe it, they just knew!

Four months later (March of 2020), they were supposed to go to Arizona with Kristen’s family but because of Covid pandemic, that didn’t happen.  Instead, Bas planned a birthday celebration at his mom’s house and being a great musician, he planned a couple songs for her on his mom’s beautifully restored piano.

Afterwards Bas gave her a card and asked her to read it aloud.  By the time she was finished reading, he was down on one knee and she thought hers were going to give out.

She said it was the most incredible moment with their families there to share it with them.

After receiving their wedding film, this is what they replied…

Thank you SO MUCH!! We are absolutely in LOVE with our feature film (SO many happy tears watching) and cannot wait to relive our perfect day over and over. Thank you for capturing all the love and magic from that day – we are forever grateful!! 🙂 Warmest wishes, Kristen and Bas”

We love our wedding couples so much!

Ethan & Julie – May 27, 2017

We LOVED this wedding!!!  Let me count the ways.  First of all, the couple, Ethan and Julie, were so sweet.  And the way Ethan looked at her all day long was so incredible. It melted our hearts.  They were made for each other.

My favorite moment of the day was at the beginning of the ceremony as Julie’s father walks her down the aisle.  It was a beautiful day in May.  The sun was shining. The birds were singing.  Everyone waited anxiously for the bride to make her entrance.  But there was one person more anxious than all the others.

After the family and the wedding party had made their way down the aisle, the smiling crowd rose to their feet in honor of the bride as she was escorted down the aisle by her dad.  They were all smiles.  Well, except for one person.

Ethan, the groom, was in tears!  This was the day, the moment, he had waited so long for!  This was the culmination of all the preparation and anticipation that led to this one moment in time when he officially got to make her his forever!  He was overcome with emotion.  So much so, that he could barely look up to see his bride approach through tear-filled eyes.

It was the sweetest moment and I watched it with a smile on my face no telling how many times as I edited this film.

Second, this venue is AMAZING!  The ceremony view at Blue Mountain Vineyards is just incredible. And the view faces West so if you love sunset pictures like we do, you could get some stunning ones here.  The event barn is perfect for receptions with a wonderful brides room upstairs that has beautiful window light, which we always appreciate.  And come to find out that the barn was built by one of the owners, Teddy, himself. Just incredible.

Third, the other owner Jessica (Teddy’s wife), is the event planner and on site coordinator and she is so nice and accommodating and we were really impressed with how organized she was and on top of every detail.  Sincerely one of the best we’ve seen!

And finally, the other vendors we got to work with there were all so great!

They actually had two vendors there supplying the music.  Club Rhett is a great DJ and MC and also provides photo booths.  And Brooke Serrano is a truly talented singer!  We especially loved her rendition of our wedding song, I’ll Be by Edwain McCain!  It is the same song I sang to Tracie on our wedding day.
